Visually Vibrant Vancouver Art for your Walls

One of my favourite areas of Vancouver to explore would have to be an area affectionately known as East Van. The energy of Vancouver's first neighbourhood, Strathcona, the realness of Commercial Drive (The Drive), the hope and despair on East Hastings, the importance of historic Chinatown. All these areas give Vancouver its culture, its uniqueness, its very breath.

Wandering the streets either on foot, or by bus, I can see so much beauty all around me. A lone silhouette slumped on bus bench, or leaning up against one the most historic buildings in the city - a perfect, yet imperfect, yet real scene just the same. I hope my images help to capture fleeting moments that others may have missed by choosing to turn their eyes away. These people are our fellow humans, someone's daughter, son, wife, husband, mother, father. They matter.
