Should I Blog instead of using Social Media?

As a Vancouver street photographer who posted to Instagram practically every day between 2018 and 2022, I really enjoyed having a platform to share my images. Being a part of the world photography community was a lot of fun too. It really inspired me to get out daily (regardless of the weather) and shoot.

Since deleting Instagram (and Facebook) in early 2022, I've definitely noticed my motivation decline. What fun is it to shoot interesting images if there is no larger community to share with. Yes, I send some of my images to family and friends, but mostly I keep them to myself. 

I thought starting a blog might inspire me again. I really need some inspiration....
